The Leica Reflex Forum is for those who love Photography...

no matter which camera you own!

The Leica Relfex Forum started out, back in the early 1990's as a home for users of Leica's 'R' series cameras.
Since the demise of the "R" system, in 2009, The Leica Reflex list has morphed into a general photography list.
The conversation has changed to the use of any camera, with or without Leica lenses.

These days the LRflex list is a friendly, polite, general photography discussion list, with a low volume of posts, but a high
signal-to-noise ratio. And we all benefit, by sharing the photos we take with these cameras.

WELCOME!

To Subscribe

Our list is operated through the courtesy of Freelists.ort.
Simply click HERE. That will take you to Freelist's web-site, where you will
see a form, that looks like this....

Enter the email address to which you wish to be subscribed ,
check the "I'm not a robot" box, and click "NEXT".

A confirmation email will be sent to the address you enter.  You
must reply to that email before any actions are taken. Simply use your email
program's REPLY function and do not change or add anything to the message.
(This step prevents someone else signing you up for a list you did not want.)

or
to Manage your account..

You can use the form above, to:

1)
change to/from Digest Mode (where you receive a single email, per day, that contains all the day's posts.)
2)
change to/from Vacation Mode. (so our inbox does not fill up with emails, while you are on holiday.)
3)
Unsubscribe from the list.

Using the form (above), enter your email address in the top box, select the action you want from the drop down box (middle box),
check the "I'm not a robot box and then click on "next".  To start,

In all cases, be SURE to enter the exact email address to which you were subscribed or the action will fail!

Whatever you do here, a confirmation email will be sent to the address you enter.  You

must reply to that email before any actions are taken. (Simply use your email
program's REPLY function and do not change or add anything to the message.)

This is done to prevent someone else maliciously subscribing you to a list you do not
wish to be on, or tampering with your subscription.
When your return email is received by freelists.org, it will respond with a new email
confirming completion of your request.

IMPORTANT!  If you are unsubscribing, you MUST enter the email address with which you were subscribed.
For example, if you enter your work email address, because that's where you are when you are doing this,
but you were subscribed to receive the list at home, the system will not recognize who you are
and the unsubscribe will fail.  If you subscribed with your home email, enter your home email address!

If your email address changes, please usubscribe the old address, and subscribe again, with the new address.

To send a message to the list members:

Send your email to LeicaReflex@freelists.org.

(Note: You must be a member first, or your message will be automatically rejected.)

Frequently Asked Question's

Andrew Nemeth has compiled one of the world's most comprehensive
 Leica Camera & lens FAQs. Over a hundred articles; thousands of links;
with
an emphasis on everyday usage rather than arcane lens-fussing or collector trivia.
It can be found at:  http://leica.nemeng.com/

Archives :
The archives have a remarkable advantage over most.  You can search for a keyword, or
browse by month, indexed by date or by subject thread.  Very nice!
A searchable archive of the Leica Reflex Forum can be found at
http://www.freelists.org/archives/leicareflex/ or simply click  here.

In Case of  Disaster:

If you have followed the instructions, to the letter, and still, nothing works....
go back and read 'em again, and try again.  If you are convinced nothing
is working, email the list owner.
